About Sherri A Wingler

Sherri Wingler is the author of Wings of Darkness, Book 1 of The Immortal Sorrows series. She lives and works (way more than full-time) in Indiana. She shares her home with her husband, Steve, way too many rescued kitty cats, two geriatric dogs, and a co-dependent Shih-Tzu named Spanky. (Without Spanky’s help, Wings of Darkness would have been finished much sooner!) When she isn’t working in the real world, or writing stories to keep herself entertained, her spare time is spent raising money for her local Humane Society, in the hopes that she can save at least a few little … Continue reading About Sherri A Wingler

Review of Glimpse of Darkness

I am a HUGE fan of the immortal Sorrows series and am currently, impatiently, awaiting the 3rd book in the series. This prequel was an answer to my prayers, a little taste to keep me going until the next instalment. I am a sucker for the baddies, I love a good villain and Clotho- AKA Fate – is about as bad as they come. I was intrigued to find out more about her back-story and why she was such an almighty cow! Firstly despite this being a prequel and thus shorter than the rest of the series, the authors engaging … Continue reading Review of Glimpse of Darkness

Meet Sherri A Wingler

We caught up with rising star of the YA scene Sherri A Wingler and prodded her clever brain … Read our fab interview  and see what she has in-store for us Immortalites! What was the inspiration behind The Immortal sorrows series? I honestly couldn’t have answered that when I started the series. They say writing is good therapy, and it is. It’s a good thing, too, or I’d be crazier than I already am! I’m no stranger to Death. He’s shown up many, many times in my family. I just humanized him a bit so I could come to terms … Continue reading Meet Sherri A Wingler

Review Of Wings Of Shadow

I was lucky to be sent an ARC the second book in The Immortal Sorrow’s series by Sherri A Wingler. I discovered this book series last year, to say I enjoyed the first in the series, would be an understatement. I have a habit of reading and re-reading books that inspire me and the first book Wings of Darkness, was read three times before I got my hands on the second in the series. I was both itching with anticipation and terrified that the second book, Wings of Shadow might not be as good as book one. My fears were … Continue reading Review Of Wings Of Shadow

Review of Wing Of Darkness

This book had me hooked from the beginning and refused to let me sleep. I have been up two nights reading this and loving every single moment. Wings of Darkness is everything I look for in a book. Witty, endearing, clever and addictive. If at the end of a book I am disappointed I live in the real world, then that book has done its job. This was most definitely the case with this book. It is very rare that I read a book in which I love the protagonist. Izzy is the exception. I loved this character from the … Continue reading Review of Wing Of Darkness
